Special Olympics BC competitors in Kelowna are some of the most dedicated, skilled, and passionate athletes in the province.

Participants are welcomed from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, interests and levels of ability, and all have the opportunity to practice and compete year-round in the variety of sports offered by Special Olympics BC- Kelowna.
Athletes may choose to participate on a recreational level or aim to compete at regional, provincial, national or international events. SOBC athletes also have the opportunity to be involved in leadership roles in their communities by serving as athlete speakers and fundraising and program volunteers.
